Welcome everyone! I took a slew of army photos at Nova this year, but quite a bit less then I usually do. I was participating in more events this year, as well as seminars, so didn't have the same amount of time that I usually have. I hope you do enjoy the ones I was able to take snapshots of! (Sorry for the ones I missed!).

Welcome back! Time to wrap up this week of adepticon coverage! Today is just wrapping up my time at the event, as well as putting up all the photos I took with the cell phone. I generally use a Canon S110 to take the main photos (on a monopod), and use a cell to share photos with my buddies in hangouts. Normally I don't have too many cell shots, but it turns out I took over 200...I may have a problem. So lets get started!
It's been a long stream of photos, but we are finally approaching the end! Today's post covers the larger games, including special attention to Dave Taylors amazing titan, the evening Adeptus Titanicus games, Glowpocalypse by poweredplay gaming, and guest photos by Ben from Clan Kaargul of Colorado!
Lets get started, shall we?
Welcome back one and all! Today s photos make up a majority of Friday events, with some Sunday events as well. I also added a few more to the bottom sections of team and champs, as I found some of them mixed in on Friday's images as well. (Friday was the top 16 in champs). Please forgive the mixing of friendly, long war, and combat patrol. It was hard to differentiate the sections when walking around. Hopefully everyone is just happy to look at the pretty mini's! To morrow will be the roundup of Titans, Apoc, and Glow hammer. With Friday being guest photos and a wrap-up of my time at Adepticon. Thank you all for visiting the page and checking out the photos!
Welcome back everyone! Today I'm posting up videos and photos from the Team Tournaments. If you aren't aware, this is one of adepticons main draws. The team tournament is a crazy massive fest of gaming, combined with drinking, and fantastic displays. Below you'll find a walk through video of everyone setting up their displays (useful for the larger pieces), and photos of the various displays! Enjoy! (Stay tuned on Wednesday for the Friendly, Long war, Knight, and Combat patrols) Greetings everyone! I just got back from Adepticon and had an absolutely amazing time. Tons of new friends, reconnecting with old ones, and so many amazing mini's to look at! I was able to take roughly the same amount of photos as last year, so will be breaking them up into daily posts this week. To start you off, I'll be posting the Singles Championship photos. On tuesday I'll hit up with the team display photos, and hten we'll settle into the other events, including 30k/glowhammer/combat patrol and the friendly later on wednesday and thursday! I tried to get everyone's army, but if you have ever attended adepticon, you know this is a majorly daunting task! If you really like a photo, just drop me a comment and I'll put the full size one on imgur for you! Enjoy everyone!
Hey Guys! No post last week, but a flurry of posts coming out. I'm at adepticon this week! Will be taking my normal flurry of photos for the various events. I have a bunch of seminars on thursday, but should be around for the 40k championship setup to try and snag early round photos. If I miss you, don't worry, I'll be back later to get some more! Reminder of my crazy mug! I'll be wearing my FYN "I'm jinking, Brutal but Kunnin, and Kunnin but brutal shirts" at the event. Please say hi if you see me! I'll also be tweeting regularly and trying to update with photos. You can follow me @3dgreg Hope to see many of you there, and check out all the amazing work!!! Hey Guys! Welcome back! Finally got in some 40k events this past weekend at Huzzah Hobbies (and my back held up, so that was a plus) and took a load of photos. Had a great time with Phil (ran the event) and Ashley (main judge) and the overall atmosphere was really pleasant. Great store to boot! But enough about that, you guys want to see the photos!
This is the bat rep you all have been waiting for. The mighty steel legion faces down the ork walkers for battle supremacy in the campaign to keep the dirty humans back in their own space. With a whopping fourteen tanks lining up to end the orks day, it was going to be a brutal slugfest of drinking, yelling, and balling so hard. This battle would swing back and forth from turn to turn, with every tea light marker being used, and the orks taking massive losses. This battle was also vs Dan, and was one of my all time most enjoyable 40k games I've ever played. How much fun was it? Lets just say our secondary points were "Drinking, Yelling, and Having fun".
Welcome back loyal rust friends! Today is the battle royale between Colin's awesome Daemon army, and the Trust in Rust Walkers! I'd met Colin at the previous Nova Open, and at Adepticon, but had yet to play a game with him! Was definitely looking forward to this. (We also played Jason and Brett [his teammates] in an earlier matchup!) Colin had a number of wicked things in his list, including a void shield relay network, which rendered all my shooting pretty much mute! This was going to be an absolute slug fest back and forth Onto the mighty battle!
Welcome friends to the battle arena, where the walkers fast a series of dangerous and brutal opponents. Though I played in six games, I'm only going to cover the 2k point games, as that is when I played the walkers. The other games I was forced to put away the walkers and play with things I'm not used to which made me feel all icky. I need my steel and iron! The first game I'm covering is vs Sebastian, the son of Steve (my opponent at the LVO). Steve wasn't just content to krump me himself, he sent his minions to crush my spirit! Seb would be bringing the Dark Angels "Gets Hot" list. I would be bringing walkers...lots and lots of walkers!
Hey Guys! Hope you are liking the photos!
Going for speed here more for nice careful selection of photos. Because I was participating in two events, (and taking classes), the photos are not as separated as I'd like them to be! I'd also like to apologize to the narrative players. I had !@)$(&)!@&$!)( fun up the wazzoo, and was a bit drunk most of the time, so only really got photos of my stuff! The website was getting a bit overloaded with all the photos in one post, so I had to split them up. So you get two posts in one day! Will work on the others for Tuesday and Wednesday! Hope you guys enjoy them!
Hey Guys! Back from Nova Open, and what an absolutely amazing time I had. I played in Trios, narrative, entered the capital palette competition, and made a ton of new friends, while reconnecting with old ones. Today I'm going to share all the GT photos I took, tomorrow we'll hit up the narrative, invitational, and trios. I hope you guys love army photos, because here they all come! Choosing the cover image is always a hard one...but boy did I love these guys!
Note: Some of the photos are duplicates. When you are trying to take photos of an entire GT, sometimes you forget which armies you took a photo of already...also I had a camera setting wrong for a bit, and ended up having to retake a bunch of shots! See video at end for shenanigans. Welcome back! Going to try and do one of these a day! I'm excited to get to the gretchin article :). My next match up was vs Bob and his double centurion ultramarine pod list! I had met Bob last year at trios/nova, and was looking forward to playing with him. His setup was really well done, and his army was beautiful, fluffy, and hit extremely hard!
