Triple Bright Lamp Review
Hey guys. I'm back with another review. This is another product I purchased with my own hard earned money. No sponsors involved here!
I first started looking for a replacement lighting system when my cheap ikea lamp was knocked over by a villain (left arm) and smashed into my brush cleaner. "Enough I said! It's time to upgrade!"

I decided to go with a "triple bright" lamp from Daylight. I saw a similar design in the store, (after a recommendation to check them out in person by Todd), and decided to go with this brand from amazon...both because it was far cheaper, and it was prime shipped (which means super easy returns).
This lamp attaches to a desk via a clamp adapter. It can handle up to around a 2.5-3.0 inch thick desk. (If you need to know for sure, just comment and I'll physically measure it for you). The lamp is extremely wide, and is made up of three 14 watt, 18 inch long bulbs. (Lamp is about 24 inches wide)
Taking off the giant twisty tie (Cat is super psyched about his new twisty tie toy), causes the beast of a lamp to unravel itself. It's roughly 36 inches long, and has multiple adjustment points.
These adjustments are very rigid, and allow for easy positioning of the lamp. Even fully outstretched, the lamp is very stable, and holds position.
The light also has a chrome grill which helps to diffuse the light, helping to reduce sharp shadows form the 225 watts of output (equivalent)
How's the light look? Really nice! It produces a very clean diffuse daylight style light (6500K). Little bit high on the kelvin scale for me (rather have a 5000ish), but it does really well producing a decent color spectrum. (At least from the histograms/curves in the photos!) It's an unbelievably massive improvement over my previous setup. Here are some shots showing the adjustments possible on my work bench.
You also get an idea of just how bright the light is. Everything outside of it tends to dim out in the photos. Here's a nice closeup with my nicer camera, showing the type and quality of light on a miniature at working height. No sharp shadows from spot lights. Just nice, bright, diffuse lighting.
My favorite part of this light? I just recovered a ton of space...and no more cords draping all over my work bench! If you are not an amazon shopper, you can also check this light out at some local hardware stores. It's a Daylight model U32500. Hope this review has been helpful to some of you!
I'm also posting some other blogger light recommendations in a blog post, which is linked at the end of this article. Check it out if you want more information!
