Greggles runs a computer lab. The people who use it can be dicks. They disconnect things and steal stuff. Despite the security measures of the facility, people still get around it. He was looking for various solutions for stopping people from being able to get to the cables, or at least deter them. I had a few suggestions on how to protect his machines.

Arwyn has a pretty sweet job now. I am jealous. Everyday she brags about something new about where she is now, including a co-worker's bakery owning wife.
So I was at Firefly music fest (as I mentioned in the previous post). Normally at music fest, like conventions, I barely ever get any real sleep. For some reason this year, I actually managed to go to sleep at a decent hour. Granted, the sleep wasn't very good, but I still managed to get into my tent and have my head on my pillow before 4 am. The groups around us either came back really late or passed out early so whenever we got done listening to bands and eating, it would be dead at the campsite. So we would hang out for a while hoping for some shenanigans and just got bored so we would go to bed. On a few occasions, I'd be up, but after just laying there for a while decide I was just done for the night. Funny enough, then we would hear people stopping by the campsite and be disappointed that we weren't up and partying.
I am currently at Firefly music festival. So this week has been a bit compressed. I had to finish Tuesday's comic on monday night, which too 8 hours cause I was getting distracted by E3 news and streams... And since I most likely am drunk when this posts and most likely a few days before as well, I had to do it before I left. Especially since I wouldn't have enough juice for the surface pro to get through a strip. So, I spent all of today/tonight (Tuesday) getting tis don. But once again, have been distracted by the streams and news from E3. SO MUCH GOOD STUFF! xbone backwards compatibility, the games, (FF VII!!!!!), Horizons Zero Dawn, etc... And packing, has taken toll on me. The beer didn't help. And the Roosterteeth streams did not either. I will miss all the news and the streams.
I you recall last year, I talked about my hate of moving. Well, Arwyn and Macathu get to enjoy the experience soon. Sucks for them! (It'll suck for me again I'm sure. Anyways, right now there are tons of games to play. We also still have to schedule our DnD sessions and 40k. This move is seriously hampering my gaming sessions!
So, recently I read about this woman in Spain who was selling off sections of the sun as real estate on ebay. She said that (and is correct) that the U.N. doctrines say that no NATION can claim ownership of heavenly bodies, but it never says individuals could not ( article here ). That got me thinking. Why did she sell the sun? Why not other planets or galaxies? I decided to google the term Heavenly bodies (prepare for some NSFW images if you do search yourself. After a little time, I thought about what else do nations currently own. My mind wandered to all the international teams and athletes come olympic, world cup, and other international play. I then googled hottest teams.
Periscope came out for the Android recently. This makes me happy since so many people I follow on twitter were doing them and I was missing out. I was talking to Greggles about it, and he asked if that was snapchat. Easiest explanation is twitch for real life. He can't be bothered to keep up with all the new fangled apps.
It has been a crazy long week. Having worked Awesome Con meant putting in basically 14 hour days there. After that, I had forgotten that I was doing a summit for work which resulted in 10 and 14 hour days. Even my short days after those days, ended up going long. I am exhausted. I hate past Jay's decisions...
Awesome Con is now over. I had a lot of fun running around taking photos and enjoying panels. I also loved snapping cosplays. Overall, I took roughly 1300 pictures (no, they are not all usable or worth using at least). Friday and Saturday, I wore our Feed Your Nerd shirts, and on Sunday I cosplayed as Iron fist for a while, and then swapped to FYN gear again. Most of the time, I carried around 2 cameras, my surface pro, and various other things. Needless to say, it was very taxing. I haven't done that at a con for a long time (at least not for an entire con weekend). Needless to say, my body was not used to the weight. Work this week is a lot crazier than I expected, and I'm hoping to get to posting more pics (def some from the panels) later this week. However, considering I worked 10 hours today and I have a 12 hour day tomorrow it most likely will be later than sooner. check our facebook page for a sample of pics from panels.
