I have a crap memory. I forget many things and when I places, I tend to forget to bring things. I also forget to do things, or that I have done things. So I don't know why it surprised anyone that I forgot my notes for the wedding. okay, thats just my lame excuse, but it still doesn't negate the fact!

This weekend was a wedding! HOORAY (not mine!)! Being the best man, I had planned a speech full of movie and book references. That speech was not heard....

Lately I've been getting mailers from various companies. These ads and stuff have been in Chinese. I am not Chinese. My last name could be considered Chinese, so I can see the confusion. However, when my internet targeted ads start getting racist, I get very confused. For example, Amazon sent me an email of things I may be interested in. They were all various types of Ramen. I haven't looked up Ramen. I know where to get Ramen if If I want some. It isn't hard. I wouldn't order bulk insta Ramen. Makes me think what else will I be targeted for?

Greggles is having some work done to his place. He hasn't had the best experience. Luckily they got back on schedule, but for a while it was very worrying. It is extremely frustrating when people don't stick to schedules. 

So Adblock is going to start putting ads on websites. WHAT?! Yes, it is true. They are allowing plus users to remove ads they don't want to see, and replace them with ads they may or choose to see. They then earn revenue from you seeing or clicking those ads. I guess more relevant ads are better than generic ads. It just is comical that they are called "adblock" and now they won't be blocking. Unless, they go the route of "super premium pay level" where they then block those ads. It just brings me to think of the movie "The Big Hit" with the trace buster... buster buster. hahaha. Man I want to watch that movie again now. 

So, recently there were articles about how Chipotle was working with a university on a project to test drone delivery service. (source) BRILLIANT! On a campus, that would be awesome. In the city, I'll just stick to other delivery services if I need em, but still. It would be pretty cool to have it delivered by drone. Plus, this could potentially lead to other delivery services. Regardless, I would have loved to be part of these trials.

Another NOVA Open is over. If you were wondering what it draws people to table top conventions and tournaments, you just have to check one out and see how great they are. The majority of people are there just to play some games, have fun, learn, and socialize. I had a blast at my second one. It was great seeing the people I met last year and to meet more people this year. Last year I went in nervous as to what it would be like, but this year I knew it would be good, and it did not disappoint. Basically 4 exhausting days of great people and times.
