It is sad and unfortunate how often I see posts and hear from friends who are in the web design and art fields talking about crap they have to deal in their career choice. The times people take their work and efforts for granted. The "Oh! can you whip me up a quick little logo for my side project that I work on once every 5 months for 2 mins?" hand me outs they expect. or the worst being the "is that it? my kid could have done a better job" condescending nonsense... where if they actually did have their kid do it, would probably be some crap like this

Thanksgiving is Thursday. Hope everyone travels safely if traveling and enjoys the tie with family and/or friends. Hope It goes better than it does for these space marines.
last Saturday the FYN folks and few others had our nearly monthly DnD session. it was the first chance I got to do a complete DM session for them. if you haven't already noticed from my comics and our random posts, they do not go the way well traveled. nearly immediately, they split the party and their characters had falling outs with each other during last session. This session they decided to split the party even more! within the first 30 minutes, toons were unconscious and bleeding out. Also (most of them) had no desire to help anyone and got roughly 15 townspeople killed and then decided to spit in the face of a half dragon... lucky for them I am amazing at rolling 1's, and in my game means a penalty for critical misses. you roll to see if you hurt yourself. I think I killed more of the baddies than they did. Guess
splitting the party in my campaign isn't the worst idea. So i have this habit. I seem to forget to eat at times. Sometimes it is just breakfast, other times i don't eat at all. Most of the times it is just cause I get wrapped up in stuff, and the hungry goes away by the time I am able to eat. Other times, I decide to wait for some huge meal or tasty tasty noms. Other times, I just don't think about it. The last is when I am having bevs and being social having fun. It just doesn't occur to me to pause and eat, til things die down. Those are the rough nights.
It has been nearly 2 months since the FYN crew played their last session of D&D. We had started on the 5th rules and in a new campaign. You would think in that time, I would have prepared for the next session. Well, you would be correct, except that prep work was done 6 weeks ago, and I no longer remember what I had prepared and the schemes I made... We play again on Saturday... they stress is real. Sometimes, desperate DMs have to resort to desperate measures to ensure an enjoyable experience
Games Workshop has been on a tear updating and releasing new stuff for warhammer 40k. My Dark Eldar just got a bunch of updates as already meantioned before. Look like it is Aegis's turn with his Tyranids. The last time they chamged things, it required a completely different way of playing them. It seems like this time will require that as well, but may make Aegis very happy and me very sad. Both of us will be more strategic. Of course, not if he can't get his new nids.
As is usually the case when it comes to Halloween, I stress out about the costumes, and then in rapid fire pull off something or somethings. This year I finished up my bravest warrior cosplay (well, kind of... the boots were made of foam instead of pleather like I will eventually do), the punisher who kills you with kittie cuteness (To go with my shirt that I got from lootcrate (THANK YOU LOOTCRATE FOR BEING AWESOME EVERY MONTH), and then my final form, I made a cardboard bbq grill to go as Korean BBQ. My good friends who have known me for a while understand that I sometimes do outfit changes at parties for some odd reason when I've had a few. Some not so much.
