I am still really proud with how well the lara croft comic came out. ( click here for it ) I was able to put that together and do so many things as a combo that I struggle with normally individually. I was able to actually put that together fairly quickly (for me anyways). It took just about as long as my easier comics. I did a comic back when the previous lara croft game was out and I was playing it. I don't think I ever posted it, but I will at the bottom of this. I have held that strip in my mind as a proud moment that showed that I had grown. Looking back at it 3 years later, I think... WTF WAS I DOING?!?!?! Problem with doing something that you feel is your best, it is hard not to compare everything afterwards to it. I have the same issue with running and other things. It is tough living up to what is in your head.

So once again, I shall me moving. It was surprisingly easy this time around to get an apartment. I was very fortunate. Don't get me wrong, I scoured the internet for many hours and did my research. I checked reports, rankings, reviews. In the end, it worked out very well, and I only had to see 3 places til I found the one. Meanwhile, at the current residency, I had to give our notice that we would not be renewing. There are a number of reasons why I will not remain at this house.
I'm playing through The most recent Tomb Raider. I played for a bunch of hours and it was just not hooking me. Part of the problem is that I like to search everything and get the collectibles in this series. The story hadn't really built up much interest for me, but I could hunt like crazy. That was okay for a little while, but after a while I got bored. Eventually when I maxed out the resource gathering, and wiped out most of the animals. Once that was done, I started to actually start going through to the checkpoints and progress in the story. By then I had already put in about 11 hours but had only gotten around 16% of the story complete. That was fine, and when I played in earnest it finally started to interest me. Nothing was too difficult or shocking but I did get annoyed when I ended up back in the same spot I had just been in 30 mins ago where I had wiped out everything. When the story brought me back to that area, it then asked me to clear animals........ WTF?! Is this WOW?!! Fine! I'll go to the cave and walk in to get the mission completed and be done with it.
On saturday, I woke up and I was hearing through kind of a muffled filter. I reached up and touched my ear. Pain instantly emanated from it. It was initially a sharp pain, but then became more of a consistent soreness. It was warm, and inside there was some swelling where it felt like a bump. I either got a zit or something bit me. I think I've had a pimple on my ear before, but I never had one in it. Greggles says it is a thing. So possibly that is the case?
For some reason, my phone's screen still activates while in my pocket when I wear my khakis. This can be a problem, as I usually walk about 2 miles on my way to the metro (subway) and then 2 miles home. The last thing I'm usually doing when I put my phone in my pocket is pokemongo (I am walking 2 miles each way after all. might as well get those eggs hatched) and gchat. This typically results in me posting random stuff in chat or activating videocalls over and over again... Apparently, that can be annoying!
Greggles and Arwyn both got into Stardew Valley. Deep into Stardew Valley. They played the crap out of it and basically maxed everything til they did all the things they could basically and then stopped playing. The first DLC came out, and Greggles was very excited to read about it. He immediately told Arwyn about it and all the changes. I have yet to see their farms. I am excited to see what they have done.
Arwyn went to Twitchcon. Things happened, she saw stuff, she did stuff, she played stuff. Flying back, she didn't have as much fun. Things got nasty...
How do we not have a show about celebrities dancing on ice? There is one where they are partnered with pro ice dancers, but I just want them in dress shoes on ice, trying to dance and all the hilarity that would ensue. And then you can go to a dark place....
