It has been really rainy the last 2 weeks. These have been pretty bad storms. Flash flood warnings pretty much daily for a while. I live in a basement apartment. Flooding was a thing that I wasn't concerned about after the first storm and I saw how good the drainage was. The street was flooding, but my entrance ways were fine! Then one night while playing games, when I stood up my foot felt cold. Realized that the apartment was flooding. At least part of the backroom was. Fortunately I don't put things on the floor. The computer sits on top of my desk so all was good and I could keep playing!

The elegance of the rhetoric happening from leaders of the various people has been just been chaotic and unstable. It is scary and laughable all at the same time. It is sad that this is becoming mundane and a regular part of our lives. I try to avoid making comics or statements about politics, but what the hell. It reminds me of Siri and Alexa talking to each other if they were trying to outdo the other. Why can't we just have cute kitties and jokes?
