So as I mentioned a number of times, I am an interpreter. When I'm with Deaf people I don't use my voice (cause why would you?). Depending on who I am talking to, I may mouth some of the words at times, but I still don't vocalize. I have lived with a dog in the same house for over a year now. It seems that I have never had a conversation with a Deaf person in front of the dog. I was videochatting with someone and I had brought my surface to the living room to do so instead of staying in my room. Apparently, that can be confusing for someone who has never seen this kind of interaction. This is basically a straight telling of what happened.
