end 2016

2016 took so many of our entertainers. Many of whom influeced aspects of our (my) life. The most recent ones being Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds (and just before them George Michael, who if you have sung Karoake with me knows is a big part of my life). All of which have been a complete force within the industry and did so many amzing things not just in the industry but also for people in general. Obviously, Carrie has been on my radar for ages after initially seeing her in Star Wars. Debbie too was influential. Recently, Greggles and his (now) wife and her family invited me to go see Singing In the Rain with a live Orchestra performing all the pieces. I haven't that in forever, and it was just as good as I remembered, and it was inspiring to know how much work she put into that to look so at ease. When Carrie Passed, we thought that was it. 2016 Couldn't hurt us any more, til shortly after Debbie was brought to the hospital. We have just a little time left in 2016, and we are all collectively holding our breath that it doesn't do more.
