Hey Guys! Welcome back! I don't do any april 1st silly stuffs, so this post is about me stumbling and getting back into the hobby grove of things. Last week was a whirlwind of posts, social media, and blogging, so trying to recenter myself this week!
Mmmm dragon forge bases!
When I got home from adepticon, I had a wonderful surprise in my mailbox...my dragonforge design kickstarter had arrived! So many freaking awesome bases!
Jeff @ Dragonforge design had an awesome kickstarter awhile back, and I jumped on immediately. This is the awesome result of that! I threw in some comparison photos of the 32mm vs 25mm, and I'm super excited to transition the marines over. Love me some bigger bases! I haven't decided if I'm actually going to use these bases, as I'm planning on redoing my templar's as the "first" templars, so they'll be imperial fist templars. Was thinking of doing them on jeff's tech deck bases . We shall see!

My adepticon haul. I finally got my Sicaran tank :). This has started me on my Fist/templar army, which will include knights, templars, fists, tanks, all the greatness!
This model is half metal, half greenstuff.
Working on a spyder for Macathu's Canoptek harvest. Our friend Jeremy gave him this model, which I've taken up painting as part of my "paint for fitness" program. This one is going to be primarily airbrushed, so should be really interesting to see how it turns out. Will be priming it today!
Elsewhere on the hobby front, I've been working on Shantz's Haemy. Having some fun with this guy, trying a few new things. I got a little carried away with the "different xenos skins" for his cloak...so might redo that, as it's a bit too colorful for a haemy right now! The red/orange on the knife is to match the rest of his army.
