Hey Everyone!  Short post this week. Will just be chatting about whats going on in the wonderful wide world.  No new hobby stuff thanks to the peripheral nerve between my L4 and L3 vertibre.  Seems my muscles spasmed there and compressed the nerve, which has made it relatively painful to sit at a desk and attempt to paint.  On a happy note, I now know exactly what dry needling is, and how it feels! :)

I will still be in attendance (judging armies with @lilthunderliz) at Hammer in the New Year at Huzzah this weekend, so if you are a local, stop by and say hi!

​What can I say, the post needed something to grab your attention.

​Alright, here's where we are. If you read last week's post, then you'll know that we are preparing for some storytelling via a linked narrative series of games. If you didn't then, now you do.
 
The set up will be using some old scenarios that I've modified from White Dwarf to place certain forces in specific positions so that the story can advance.
 
In short, an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor is attempting to infiltrate forces into dangerous Crime Guild territory to acquire a person of interest known as "Mad Jack". The operation has been ordered so that someone with perceived connections to the still nascent cult "Children of the Dragon". The inquisitor does not have a lot of intel at this point and therefore is collecting facts, observations, and in some cases, individuals to flesh out his picture of what is going on.
 
So we have good guys (played by Jefe), a person of interest (Mad Jack) and all we were needing were some bad guys to shoot up.

Hey Guys! Welcome back.  Bit of a short post today.  I did a wicked number on my back in the past week, and can't sit or lay down for any amount of time without excessive heating pads and a whole arrangement of devices and pills to keep me sane.  Needless to say, been a bit rough on the hobby front because of this!  I am sticking to my guns though, and posting every week to keep in the groove though!

​ This week I have some important questions for all of you!

First off, I got one of these amazing tablewar cases for transporting comp mini's on a plane.  My previous transportation device (the battle foam black case) is great for transporting an army, but not so great for  transporting something I'd want to use for competition.  I wanted something that the mini could stay in, without touching any sides or abrasive foam.  (I'm horrible at sealing minis).  I've seen many an excellent artist use these cases, so hopefully one of you can answer this question!

For the bottom tray, do I use the pilth tray, or the metal double unit tray?

​A picture is emerging, albeit still fuzzy, of an emerging cult that appears to be coalescing around multiple underworld personalities. Imperial informants, those that have not disappeared in recent times, bring mentions or hints of a personality known as "The Emissary", while in the same general thread of scuttlebutt, also use words and local phrases in conjunction with the words "Dragon sent", "Dragon blessed", and "Child of the Dragon".
 
After intense cogitation analytics efforts, our data pulls have not been able to tie this movement with any known previous cult or association.
 
We have been able to infer by association that this cult has infiltrated not only several Labor Unions, but we have also observed infrequent associations with several of the more disreputable crime guilds.
 
Although the more tangible evidence of nefarious scheming has yet to surface, the extreme secrecy with which this cult conducts their operations, leaves me gravely concerned. For some reason I am reminded of a local poisonous weed that seeks to establish an extensive root network before reaching out for sources of water to tap into and consequently contaminate with dire effects to those dependent upon the water.
 
I am greatly concerned about innocuous nature of this threat.

Hey Guys! Welcome back.  Still trying to get into the groove of the hobby world, so I decided to start with some organization.  I finally got a third Ikea glass case to put all my walkers in, because my Nova explosion basically built roughly 3000 points of orks I needed to store somewhere!

I really love these cases, as they are pretty inexpensive and look great.  I just wish they had a few extra shelves.  I've seen some weld some new metal brackets on the side bars, but that is one skill I don't have!

​Here's how the room is looking at the moment.

For several months now, the surrounding populace had not engaged in any riots, all of the "joy" dealers were missing and their street corners left standing vacant, and psyker sightings were at an all time low. If it weren't for the fact that attendance at Imperial worship services, as reported by the Ecclesiarchy, continued to decline at an alarming rate, Krikey could have been a happy man.
 
But something was seriously wrong in the big city.

Sorry I haven't been posting.  All bloggers know that if you stumble but a little, before you know it, you've missed a month or two of posts!  Trying to remedy that now.  Got a short little roundup post for you all today, followed by a Honda post on monday, and then hopefully back into business!

So what have I been up to?  Well Sarah and I finished our combining of two households, which is basically saying, we donated, sold, recycled, and tossed out half of our belongings (combined), leaving just the nicest of the furniture and various nicknaks we all collect over a decade.  Render (that's our cat), is happy with the arrangement, as now he has two laps to lay across and gets double the pets.
