I also took some photos of each step, for those who can't view videos, and will get them up in the next post (probably friday).
Hey Guys! Welcome back! I totally messed up this morning. Was going to do the third bat rep from the tournament, and I brought the photos, but left all the notes about the deployment, lists, etc. So.... I thought "Well I'll do the gretchin post this time!", but I left all the gretchin step by step photos at another location. I know it was commented that my videos should be shorter...and I did make them shorter...except there were eight of them. So I spliced them all together instead of keeping them all separate. This video shows you the simple method of letting washes do all the complicated work for you. Anyone can do this. It is extremely easy, and a very good technique if your brush skills are not at the level of master blenders. I personally think this method just looks lovely for orks in general, regardless of skill level.

Well hello there, long time no see. I'd really like to be able to say, "Honey, I'm baaaack!", but unfortunately, this is going to be more like an unannounced visit from that crazy Uncle Bob on your Dad's side that your Mom can't stand. Also , you'll notice that the subject matter is a little different than what you are used to seeing from me, though the explanation is rather simple.
My first and one true love is my Templars. I started them back a few years ago and fully immersed myself in their lore, when we still had the 4th Edition codex going for us, even as we were in the latter stages of 5th edition and jumping into 6th was not yet on the horizon. Prior to that, I had started a DIY Chapter of my own design whose lore, which quite unknowingly on my part, was very similar to Templars in a lot of ways. Welcome back! Going to try and do one of these a day! I'm excited to get to the gretchin article :). My next match up was vs Bob and his double centurion ultramarine pod list! I had met Bob last year at trios/nova, and was looking forward to playing with him. His setup was really well done, and his army was beautiful, fluffy, and hit extremely hard!
Welcome back Rust aficionados! This week brings you a blow by blow account of the ork walkers in their first mini GT showing! The claw was thrown down, and with charity on the line, the orks would push towards victory! The Charity BBQ was a small GT event, of 11 tables, with all food, and registration proceeds going to breast cancer research. It was outdoors, under tarps, and in a garage, and led to a very friendly (person, not list wise) social event. I had a great time, and was even able to meet Joe from Joesavestheday. I had a blast, and met a lot of cool people. I wish it was a bit cooler, but hey, we can't have everything!
Hey Guys! It's been an incredibly busy week for me. I've been in massive production mode, as I've got a BBQ Tournament on Saturday! It follows the nova open rules (GT), so I've been scrambling like mad to get a presentable army for it. As such, I don't have all the videos and nice photos setup as yet. Instead I have a stream of consciousness photo extravaganza for you all to check out! If you follow me @3dgreg on twitter, you've probably seen a few of these already! First off, Jeff @ dragonforge got the bases to me just in the nick of time! They are absolutely gorgeous, and I immediately started painting them. (after washing them, as per all resins)
Hey guys! Welcome back! I hope this week finds you all well. I've been enormously productive this week, making headway in multiple projects. I'm not going to cover all of them however, as I want to try and actually get slightly ahead for once in the blog posting! So today I'm mainly going to be posting my Foldio2 Review! You can just click on the photo, click on the link, or click on the button at the end of the post to get to the review. It even has a small video! Woot!
Welcome back guys! I was able to sneak in some hobby time during a crazy week of work. This time I finally got some time in the airbrush booth, so made another little video up, so you guys can see how I work! That's right...you get to see me this time! This is a quick intro vid. Enjoy looking at my garage! (Note, for some reason the preview is 144p, but the actual clip is 1080p)
