Welcome back, fellow finger stabbers! This week I continue my quest to try and get my charity donation underway. Bit boring, but necessary work has to be done! First off, I finally put together my Black Maria Designs Hobby Rack. I got the prototype nearly a year ago, and I was just that lazy...(and also didn't quite have the space). Works great for holding my secret weapon washes (and soon acrylics) . Todd and Sean just came up with an extra tier to fit all the AK products, so I'll be purchasing that soon to reclaim even more table space!

The table was cold.
Just like every medicae office he'd ever been in, especially in the Guard. Beeson wasn't sure why they separated everyone into individual cells, maybe it was to keep them from talking to each other, maybe it was to see if any of them would crack. The door to his cell opened up. Outside were two large, oddly shaped figures and a smaller, frailer looking figure standing between them. For reasons he was unable to determine, Beeson was more disturbed by the smaller of the three. "So why are you here Mr. Smythe?" whispered the smaller man. "Uh, I don't know who Smythe is, my name is Beeson. Jared Beeson." "Is that so, I must be confused. So you are here Mr. Sm-Beeson, to join the Dragon, is that correct?" 'Y-yes sir. I want to be part of the change. I was told that you, uh, or the 'dragon' were going to change things. That we wouldn't have to live like we do, in the slums, worked to death...unappreciated. I was told that the 'Dragon' was going to change everything. I want to be a part of that." "I see. So you want to...fight against your rulers, Mr. Beeson? You came here to give the Dragon something?" Beeson replied, "Yes sir." Welcome back fellow hobbyists! This week I actually take a look at my hobby area, cry a bit, then get to work. So as you might have imagined...the hobby room took the brunt of the house move. All my time and energy was spent elsewear...and coming back to this pile of mess was just disheartening. Well no more! Not only have I been sorting paints and getting everything ready, but I've also been selling off old armies (that i didn't paint) and boxes I didn't want anything to do with...which means more goodies soon!
"It is as you feared."
"The Gue'ron'sha have returned. Curiously, we note that there appear to be two different sects or organizations operating on the surface, one of which we have encountered before during the Mu'gulath Expansion. Also of interest is the fact that they do not seem to be working in coordination with each other. We are surmising that each may be here for different reasons." The Por'O pondered this information briefly, before replying, "Is this type of behavior common?" The holographic image looked down off the screen as if reading. "No, this is unlike our previous exposures to their efforts. In other Gue'la campaigns, such as Tar'O they have operated independently of others sects, whereas the continuing expansion across the Third Sphere Gulf, we have faced multiple sects working in loose conjunction with each other. In this case, we have to assume that they are not aware of each other's actions." Irritated, the Por'O shot back, "That makes no sense! How are they to synergize the results of their efforts...how are we to know what their intentions are if they won't work together?" <silence> Hey everyone! Welcome back. I hope you enjoyed the adepticon coverage. If you missed it, just click all over the website until you find it. :) I wanted to make sure I posted today, just to get back into my schedule of things. Not a big one today, but a bit of an update on what is going on, and what I'm working on next. First off, as mentioned a few blog posts ago, I was asked to help with the Nova Open charity army this year! Quite an honor let me tell you. It just so happened to be bad moonz orks, so it's right down my alley. I'll be working on a deff dread and a unit of grots as part of my pledge, alongside such amazing artists as Joe Johnson, Max Dubois, Chris Dubuque, Joel Moon, Marc Raley, Justin McCoy, Celso Mendez, and Wes Cogdal!
"Very well, let's get going Jervis." said the Lord Commandant.
"Yes, sir. If you will reference the map on the wall. First off, you'll note the green area in the upper right, which has been labeled 'Dragon town'. This descriptor has been feeding into us from some of our informants who are still active in that area. The intel that we are getting is that once someone goes in, they are never heard from again. We've had safe houses and listening posts in that general area as well, all neutralized by means unknown. When we can get an agent or servitor into the area, they disappear as well, usually within 48 hours standard. What is most disconcerting is the fact that the area in just a few short weeks has grown from the dashed area to the current size." Glumly, "We don't know why that is or what is driving the expansion." "Also troubling...the green dots you see to the Southwest are snatch and grab operations, which although successful, have yet to produce a living target to interrogate. They are occurring in areas where we've not seen targets before, so it's almost as if there is some sort of migration, generally in a Southwest direction. Again, to what purpose we do not know." "The um, targets, are we losing them for the same reasons as before?", queried the Commandant. Welcome back! Time to wrap up this week of adepticon coverage! Today is just wrapping up my time at the event, as well as putting up all the photos I took with the cell phone. I generally use a Canon S110 to take the main photos (on a monopod), and use a cell to share photos with my buddies in hangouts. Normally I don't have too many cell shots, but it turns out I took over 200...I may have a problem. So lets get started!
It's been a long stream of photos, but we are finally approaching the end! Today's post covers the larger games, including special attention to Dave Taylors amazing titan, the evening Adeptus Titanicus games, Glowpocalypse by poweredplay gaming, and guest photos by Ben from Clan Kaargul of Colorado!
Lets get started, shall we?
Welcome back one and all! Today s photos make up a majority of Friday events, with some Sunday events as well. I also added a few more to the bottom sections of team and champs, as I found some of them mixed in on Friday's images as well. (Friday was the top 16 in champs). Please forgive the mixing of friendly, long war, and combat patrol. It was hard to differentiate the sections when walking around. Hopefully everyone is just happy to look at the pretty mini's! To morrow will be the roundup of Titans, Apoc, and Glow hammer. With Friday being guest photos and a wrap-up of my time at Adepticon. Thank you all for visiting the page and checking out the photos!
Welcome back everyone! Today I'm posting up videos and photos from the Team Tournaments. If you aren't aware, this is one of adepticons main draws. The team tournament is a crazy massive fest of gaming, combined with drinking, and fantastic displays. Below you'll find a walk through video of everyone setting up their displays (useful for the larger pieces), and photos of the various displays! Enjoy! (Stay tuned on Wednesday for the Friendly, Long war, Knight, and Combat patrols) Greetings everyone! I just got back from Adepticon and had an absolutely amazing time. Tons of new friends, reconnecting with old ones, and so many amazing mini's to look at! I was able to take roughly the same amount of photos as last year, so will be breaking them up into daily posts this week. To start you off, I'll be posting the Singles Championship photos. On tuesday I'll hit up with the team display photos, and hten we'll settle into the other events, including 30k/glowhammer/combat patrol and the friendly later on wednesday and thursday! I tried to get everyone's army, but if you have ever attended adepticon, you know this is a majorly daunting task! If you really like a photo, just drop me a comment and I'll put the full size one on imgur for you! Enjoy everyone!
