Welcome back everyone! I finally beat the Witcher 3, and laid down my swords for some glue and a mouldine scraper. I had a wonderful time caught in the world of The Witcher, so much so that I bought books to read within the same universe! But now it's time to get back to the hobby, and boy am I behind. First up is the second troop choice in my army, another unit of gretchin!
You might be thinking to yourself...hey wait a minute, didn't Greg just finish a unit of gretchin? Is he trying to pawn off that unit to make up for the fact he lost 100 hours of time playing witcher???? I'm not lying to you guys! Look!
Not only that, but this time I made a video...so you can actually listen to me talk, and watch me work!
I had to break this into two parts, because I wasn't sure it was working right. I hope you enjoy it, it's something new I'm trying. I've seen so many videos where someone has showed me a particular technique (even if it wasn't the technique I was watching the video for), so I figured I'd give it a try as well. I'm hoping someone can comment on how I work, or just enjoy the majesty of a hobbyist at work.
After the first ten minutes, I adjusted my hand placement and zoom, so you could actually see what I was doing a bit better.
The next set of videos will go through how I prime things, and the painting of the bases for the grots. Then I'll do a full paint up of the grots as well. I hope someone finds it useful! (There will also be photos). I finished constructing (and cleaning up) the gretchin after these videos, but had to much to do to make the third video by Thursday. So will definitely have two more for next week!
