This week was all about getting things off my bench.
First I finally scrapped together enough pieces from the imperial sector kit my friend bought years ago, and built two massive buildings. Ork Nob and Emp Champ for scale!
One of this will be used along side a tower to provide LOS blocking terrain on the board. Plus they just look cool :).

I have two more buildings on the way, and hopefully will be able to paint them this coming week. (Temps keep dropping back to 0 Celsius and messing me up)

I also finished one part of the honored imperium, the space marine statue. Used some of the new technical paints on this one, came out pretty nice!
What I always find amazing with miniatures, is it never looks like you used layer upon layer of paint...unless you try to cheat and do it all in one layer. The depth and time put into these models is hard to see at cursory glance!
I also finished the first wraith, which will be the basis for the style/paint job on the rest of the group (5 to go). I'm really quite proud of it.
This scheme just looks so awesome on the tabletop!
I also finished the wraith, and the night scythes bases.
Different style base here. It was much harder to get a subtle glow effect due to the depth of the crevices. I still liked how it turned out.
I finished up the icarus lascannon for the aegis defense line and bastion. It's pretty simple, but I was going for a more imperial look (vs trying to match my templars).
Here is the bastion progress. It's now got 3 coats of paint, a wash and a highlight on it. Buildings are really time consuming due to their size...even if the actual work is really basic.
Last but not least! A new toy has arrived! This leviathan will stand in as a contemptor dreadnought for my black templars. I look forward to building it and giving a review! (15mm model). It comes with a tiny screwdriver and screws, so you can pose the model however you want! Pretty awesome!
