Caught in the Pillars of Eternity

Where is Greggles?  I'll tell you where..fully immersed in one of the best rpg's I've played in years!  Pillars of Eternity recently went live, and it was a game I kickstartered way back when.  I never played planescape torment, but was a huge baldurs gate fan.  Well this game ticks every single one of those boxes for me.

I almost didn't post this week...almost...but then I remembered that come 41k or high water, I'm going to try and post every week.   But Greg, I come to your blog for the gorgeous ladies, and non stop tips on how to make a gin and tonic...well fellow bloggers, I'm sorry, but this week all I have for you is....

New tech-deck bases from dragon forge! Now in 32mm! Woo!  I ordered two sets of these for use in my "templar redo" as "first templars".  They like space ships, so makes sense they'd probably be fighting in one.  Or am I getting bases for mechanicum stuff? What? That would be crazy!  I'm starting to be worn down...if they come up with cult of the mechanicum and then ad mech codexes, I'm going to lose it.

I also ordered a warboss juggernaught from kromlech when they were having their online sale, but it hasn't arrived yet to take a photo of.

I did get my masterclass book finally!  I skimmed through it so far.  It's basically like reading Zab's blog posts.  I used this and this and fa la, cry at it's magnificence!  I do really like these books (and the imperial armor ones as well), as they provide a lot of great reference, and use of color/glazes and their immediate effects.  Also really goes to showcase the true difference between tabletop and competition is time.  Days instead of hours.
