Welcome back guys! I was able to sneak in some hobby time during a crazy week of work. This time I finally got some time in the airbrush booth, so made another little video up, so you guys can see how I work!
My setup!
That's right...you get to see me this time! This is a quick intro vid. Enjoy looking at my garage! (Note, for some reason the preview is 144p, but the actual clip is 1080p)
The room I was airbrushing in was very loud. I had a dehumidifier going full blast (yay humidity), there was some landscaping going on outside (I'm in a garage, so not a lot of noise insulation), the vent fan was going, and I had the compressor for the airbrush cycling now and again (plus I'm wearing a mask). This all contributed to having no way whatsoever of talking in the video, so I doubt I'll do another airbrush video because of that. As such, they are silent videos, but I sped them up so they are less then 5 minutes if you just want to zoom around :).
On a happier note, this means I could blast music with abandon and not have to worry about copywrite issues! Also based on feedback, the videos are shorter! This one is at 4x speed.

Not everything went well. At the begining of this endeavor, i could NOT get into my groove. The airbrush fought me constantly (was also a new primer, badger, so had to adjust somewhat), with clogs and all sorts of odd behavior. I think it was camera shy. I eventually had to complete disassemble it twice, swap a needle, and run it through the ultrasonic four times before it behaved. All I can figure is a clump of dry paint really got jammed in there some how. So here is a bonus vid of me fighting the airbrush. (When airbrushes attack)
It all worked out in the end. Everything was primed and got the pre shading done!

If you noticed, there is more then just gretchin in these videos. I'm also priming the warboss, and the bike characters. I was able to assemble my forgeworld nob bikers in time to airbrush them. One is the painboy, one is the big mek (one with big choppa/trike), and then the last is just a nob. I absolutely love them!
Some minor greenstuff work on the painboy so he was actually holding the handlebar. How he doesn't crash into things while looking at his giant hand is beyond me :).
I also made a greenstuff rig to swap a second claw on the meka dread. (That was also primed up)

Lot of work for such little to show...but hey, that's how things go. Sorry about the lack of vid review of the foldio 2, I wanted to save something for next week to give me a tiny bit of buffer!
