Hey Guys! Bit of a random assortment of stuff today. I did some minor work on the mega dread, ordered some t-shirts for Nova (which came in), and took a photo of some neat texture (and some of my dreads). Crazy exciting I know. It's almost like I was busy prepping for a breakfast for dinner party this week!
First off, Mr Mega. I'm going to doing him a bad moonz color scheme, with lots of weathering. So I'm putting down a brown under layer, that I can hopefully interact with to create some neat effects.
If this fails, at least brown is an excellent color to paint yellow on top of, so my time isn't completely wasted. Should have a good amount of rust on this guy as well. It's quite a detailed model, so I'm trying to avoid just doing a big base coat. Trying to pick out details while I lay down the base.

I also took the time to work on some of the other dread bases. These are for my killa kans, which used to be on some awful awful bases I made. (I just dumped yellow flock on them).
Here is what the bases look done, in the little display cabinet. I still have another three killa kans to do, but they preformed so absymally in our last 7th edition game, I've kinda of lost the heart to continue working on them. The gorkanauts though were awesome! (rather have two gorks then 9 killa kans).
I didn't take enough photos for it to be a full bat rep...but I'll come up with something so you guys can get an idea of how the game went. The bat reps take multiple hours to do, where I can do these little progress posts in about 30 minutes or so.

On to Nova! I was able to get a cool Dakka Dakka shirt from redbubble, and a FYN shirt from cafe press. I should be sporting the FYN shirt on Thursday, and the Dakka Dakka one on Friday. So if you see me, please say hello! (I'm trying to remember where all the bloggers are going to be and such, but I have a feeling I'll be overwhelmed!)
I was really happy with how the FYN logo came out on the back of the shirt...and I hope everyone will get a kick out of the "I'm Jinking".
