Hey guys! Been another freezing week on the east coast. Still can't prime the buildings. Driving me a bit bonkers. I find the GW primer has issues when it's below 60F, even if you preheat the can. Considering the cost of the plastic figures these days, I tend to just hold off.
So please forgive the next few battle reports with plastic grey buildings. It's mother natures fault. :)

I was able to get some time to finish a few more wraiths for Macathu! These are definitely one of my favorite 40k models. They just look so awesome on the table top. Bases are resin desecrated lands from Dragonforge Design!
For those who haven't read my previous posts, I've been painting Macathu's Necrons in exchange for physical training sessions to get me into shape. It's a pretty nice exchange. I get healthier, so he can blast me off the tabletop in style. Here's a shot of where the army stands right now (portion painted by myself). You can see some of the paintjob articles in some of the side menu's!
Speaking of Macathu, he just picked up the new plastic pack from kingdom death. If you're a fan of well sculpted mini's, stop by his section of the site and check them out!
You'll probably see me eventually attempt to paint one of these beauties in the future. I say attempt, because they have a lot of exposed flesh, and flesh is one of my weakest skill sets in terms of miniature painting! But hey, if you never try or practice, how can you ever get better? Last but not least...I did snag a really good deal on the only piece of GW terrain I didn't have...the shrine of the aquila. It's three levels high, and much taller then I expected. Not much in the way of customization in this kit, but it makes up for that in sheer size.
