Welcome friends! This week I show off the completed photos of the shoota boyz and ork weirdboy. Slow and steady! Chomping away at all these boyz!
So since last time, the metallics got washed on the boyz, teeth and eyes were done (it's really hard to see the eyes in the photos), they were varnished, and final metallic highlights were put on. Last but not least, I dusted the bottom of their legs to add some dirt, and added some soot to the edges of the barrels. They came out pretty good if I do say so myself!
Here's the completed weird boy. What a fiddly model. Very dynamic, but bits and pieces going all over the place to snag and snap off. Some super subtle osl (just playing around). Wanted to just have hints of it, vs going over the top. I'm pretty happy with him, other then my completely missed join line on his right hand. I think I'm going to wrap a small chain around it and let it droop to the ground. Should help cover that up!
Already started on the next group. Probably won't be done by next week though, as I have family visiting this weekend, which will cut into my painting time! Hope every ones projects are going awesome!
