You can see the two giant ones in the backround ready for their coats...once I get another can.
I also need to pick up a giant drybrush, and some bulk grey paint.
I've been asked why I don't just base my own miniatures, and purchase resin bases instead. My reasons are two fold.
My basing skills aren't the best. (but getting better). The resin bases are solid. They have a bit of heft to them that helps hold the models in place without using coins or weights.

In the end, thanks to Macathu's excellent tactical positioning and some poor luck on the Daemon players part (failed mindshackle 3 times in a row on the daemon prince), we pulled a win.
The more important part about this post however, is the pictured ironclad. He slew the lord of change, and a daemon walker in the battle, taking no damage in return. MVP.

Two Daemon Walkers
and will be featured in all future battle reports with the Templars.
I decided to paint these in a very different scheme then the other models since...
1) They are not supposed to be lords.
2) They are going to be in groups of models.
So unlike the other necrons, their top shoulders are bronze instead of purple, and the purple is featured further down on the model (in the cloak).
