Hey Guys! Welcome back. Bit of a short post today. I did a wicked number on my back in the past week, and can't sit or lay down for any amount of time without excessive heating pads and a whole arrangement of devices and pills to keep me sane. Needless to say, been a bit rough on the hobby front because of this! I am sticking to my guns though, and posting every week to keep in the groove though!

First off, I got one of these amazing tablewar cases for transporting comp mini's on a plane. My previous transportation device (the battle foam black case) is great for transporting an army, but not so great for transporting something I'd want to use for competition. I wanted something that the mini could stay in, without touching any sides or abrasive foam. (I'm horrible at sealing minis). I've seen many an excellent artist use these cases, so hopefully one of you can answer this question!
For the bottom tray, do I use the pilth tray, or the metal double unit tray?

I'm thinking that the lip on the metal tray might work better to keep things in there (held on by tact or tape), but I am not sure. I don't want to order both because shipping is more then the trays themselves cost! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My second question, and this is an important one. Is it ok to submit a competition mini to a different painting competition? I seem to have made a critical error in my plans for my adepticon pieces. It's to cold to spray, even with the oil heater. If I do this again, I'm going to need to plan out all my comp pieces to be done before the winter (or pay to have the entire garage insulated). I feel a bit weird submitting a miniature twice to competition (though I know I won't win at crystal brush)...but at the same time, I know a lot of people haven't seen the mini in person, and it might just be cool to point at it to show off to my friends in the case. Thoughts?
Last but not least, Foldio is having their third kickstarter.
This time it's a remotely controlled turntable, with built in lighting and synchronized 360 video recording (with apps) that works with the foldio's. Check it out if you have any interest! I've backed this one, as I did with the other two. Gave my foldio1 to my buddy who still hasn't taken photos yet....
