I've been spending a ton of time watching videos and preparing to start learning new techniques, so it looks like almost nothing is being done on the hobby front. I'm a big prep-er. I'll set up my station, purchase the items, and batten down the hatches before I go full bore into creating. I'ts a bit of the by-product from my old design/science background. Did you know that by buying an airbrush, you don't automatically know how to use it? The More you Know! I went with the Grex after using one and being impressed at Nova. Though I'm no expert, it definitely allowed for significantly more precise control then my 12 dollar airbrush I got off ebay. It also felt nice in my hand, and I liked all the cool little options (like magnetized
The 12 dollar airbrush? Well I kinda of bent the needle trying to clean it, or it hates me, which results in it randomly spraying off at 45 degree angles, usually in the opposite direction that I want. I'm probably going to pick up another 12 dollar one, just to use for spraying things like furniture polish on models.
SO excited!!!!!! This is the rust set, and the dark earth set. I forgot to order the ancient earth and ash ones...that'll be part of the next order.
The fallout one is the best!
