Welcome my friends! It is done! I've finished my entire painting task list! And boy am I exhausted! (No seriously, I am spent! That is a LOT to paint!) Another awesome battlewagon! (I think i forgot to put some blues in some chips, can't really tell at a distance though, might just worry about it later). Special thanks to ministomp.com for getting me the deff rolla asap! Reworked the Kans too. They got the enamel wash. Matte varnish, Aluminum highlights, and SW Powders. They are starting to show their lack of prep work at this point...they've been repainted 3-4 times! I also redid the weirdboy so his intensity matches that of the savage ork boss! Eyes definitely pop a lot more now! I've thought about redoing all the knifes in bronze and adding some patina, but at some point you gotta say that's enough Greg, put the brush down! Time to start decompressing so you can enjoy Nova! Also finished making a little KFF backpack for the one big mek. It's simple and works! Last but not least, the finished cart! And here finally is the finished armies. Boy did I paint a lot this year!!!! I will hopefully get some more shots of the cart when the new camera arrives....I was so excited to be finally done, that I dropped the camera, and broke it (it fell on the lens :( ). So happy and sad times at the same moment! The terrain blends into the board a bit, and that is intentional. It is meant to act as "rails" to prevent the models from sliding off as I move the cart around. The actual terrain bits are the "pre" yellow undercoating for all the vehicles and dreads! Speaking of the dreads and vehicles. Check out some close ups! The technique gets a little bit better every time I do it! Also made up some images for the techniques I've been using, so anyone curious can follow along! That's it everyone! Hope to see you all at Nova! Remember to follow me @3dgreg for up to date photos at Nova Open! Hope to see you there!
