Welcome back! I spent the last few days reorganizing my entire painting/building area. Don't have as much progress in my painting, but it's REALLY nice having a nice work area now!
This is my old work area. Cluttered, messy. Difficult to find paint. Poor lighting. It's also the dining room table. (You can tell I live alone!)
I decided it was time to revamp this setup. I'm trying a "read more break" to see if it changes how the blog rolls post these updates. If it doesn't do anything, I'll go back to my standard style. (Tell me if you like the breaks better or not!)

Picked up a nice table from Ikea, and went to town reorganizing my computer area. Now I've got a massive table, with plenty of space to organize paint and tools.
I'm currently looking for some paint pot stations in the states...most of them seem to be foreign made (which is fine, I just want to save the 15-20 bucks shipping if I can). A good example is HobbyZone workstations.

I have my computer system right next to the paint station, allowing for instant inspiration or chatting with you fine folks! (also a stand up desk)
The mini collection sits to the left. Two of these armies aren't mine (nids and daemons). The sisters/templars/orks are mine.
I've picked up a glass cabinet to move the finished models to, to clean this up some.

On the hobby side of things, I've put some base layers on the four Black Templar HQ's. Just some red base for now. Trying to figure out how I'm going to layer them. On my Templar HQ's, I tend to do a red shoulder on their left pauldrons.
I'm also sticking to my guns and following the "don't touch the model" system. I'm liking it quite a bit!

I really love this witch hunter inquisitor. So many layers and detail. He's crazy bad ass looking.
These are the four bases for the HQ's. I just need to add some grass and clean up the edges. I always find finishing the bases first helps keep me inspired. I love the large 40mm base. The terminator chaplain is going to look great on it!
Last but not least....I got my gorkanaught! Started building it up. Haven't done too much, as I'm looking for nice points to set magnets and such. Definitely going to magnetize these doors so they stay shut!
