Hey Guys! Another week, another Greg not getting any Hobby Stuff done! This time it's due to two things. Video games and Physical Therapy! The first of these two games...xcom2, was flipping amazing. If you've ever been a fan of turn based squad tactical combat, Check it out. Generally when I play games like these, I always wonder if it will remove my desire to ever play the originals ever again. This one knocked it out of the park and I don't think I could ever go back again. Keep in mind though, it can be needlessly frustrating, as the difficulty level is one step up from the previous remake of Xcom (beginner = intermediate, etc). Took me 2+ hours to pass one of the missions because my forces were crippled when something game stopping happened.... Which is why the next game involved simple and calm farming. Now you'll probably be shocked outta your mind at this...even Sarah was. After sitting through me playing non stop dead/killing/disaster games...watching me playing harvest moon ultra edition was quite the change. The game is called stardew, and was made by a single individual. It is utterly fantastic, and one of the top rated games on steam. It really sucks you in something fierce. Hard to explain, so hopefully they have a demo eventually! Hmm...continuing my rambling session. Well I'm on my 5th course of physical therapy now, and the back is doing a lot better. No longer any suffering when moving around, just if I sit for extended periods, or if I over exert it. Everyday I have to do my workout, a given set of PT exercises, and then stretches. What originally was roughly an hour endeavor is currently sucking up two hours of free time a day, and leaves me a bit beat afterwords. (Thus the video game playing). Keeps getting better though, and I'm hoping for all green lights for when I'm at adepticon! Adepticon just released their guidebook for this year, so check it out if you are going! As for me, I have painting classes most of thursday, and one or two friday, but then I'm free to take tons of photos the rest of the time! Should see another major photo extravaganza as always! I'd also like to take this time to point out two additional items. One is Thor's excellent article on using ad networks to monetize your blog. It was a fantastic read, and full of information that is very relevant to all of us blogging. If you happened to miss it, I highly recommend giving it a read. Additionally, if you haven't been aware, foldio is doing another kickstarter, this time for a 360 degree controlled turntable to work with their light boxes. Though you may not be completely interested in the turntable, this is an excellent time to get the light boxes at a discount, as they can be added onto the pledges. You can expect a review of this when it eventually ships! That's it for this week everyone. Thank you for visiting as always!
