Welcome back one and all! Short update for you all this week. My normal hobby time (Wednesday and Weekend) got a bit side tracked. We went to Pittsburgh to visit Sarah's maid of honor and attend the art festival being held there. It was a wonderful time, but completely ate into all my hobby time! Not all was lost though, got some wonderful weathering shots, and picked up a wonderful new piece of art by Brianna Layman
It's a lovely piece, made with a variety of media types. Just loved the flow of it. It's now our second purchased piece in the house!
On Wednesday, I was going to surprise everyone with a squad of 30k marines...but I had to disassemble the hobby room to allow the electrician ceiling access...and then he didn't finish. Oh boy. But at least, you can check out the squad I've assembled...including mr uses chainsword as a sunshade!
Gotta tell you...the mk3 armor is AWESOME. I just love it. The mk4 armors look so boring by comparison. I do really hate the power packs though...ug so ugly. I'd rather run them sans powerpacks. Wonder if I can find a 3rd party pack that doesn't look so stupid.
As promised, some beautiful weathering curtsy of Pittsburgh PA. That place is just a non stop drove of awesome weathered stuff! That is it for this week everyone. Sorry for the short post. Will try to get a lot done for next week!
