Welcome my friends. Nova is rapidly approaching (it's just next week!), and all the grots and meks have been hard at work in the Greggles household. As I get closer to the end, these posts explode with models, as I'm not really posting all the sweat, beer, and tears wip's that went into them! First up, the new improved Zhardsnark Biker Boss!

Welcome my friends! It's been a great week in the Greggles bunker. Lots of green filled out on the to do list! (pun intended!). Lets jump right to it with the finished weirdboy #2! I had a lot of fun with this guy. It's basically just a savage ork boss with a cool lightning staff modification. That's about it. I went to town on getting some glowing effects and they seemed to work pretty well for the tabletop!
Welcome my friends. It's been another crazy week in the mek shop, with boyz being finished off left and right...and then another dozen being thrown back on the table to paint. Never ending waagh for sure! First up, this is a shot of the finished boyz, just to let everyone know I'm just not rephotographing the same ten boyz over and over again :). Today you'll see the finished photos of around thirty boyz (now that they have been varnished, highlighted, and powdered), what I'm currently working on, and some happy surprises!
Welcome back my friends! Yet another week, and yet another batch of orks painted. You'd think I was Mordain7th over there! First up, the squad of choppa boyz. This brings me up to 40 painted. (20 to go!). I'm having Sophie over at Hobbyistgirl clean them up for me (I don't want to screw up my wrists again this close to the end). Hopefully should have those early next week! Thought part of me has been toying with just running two battle wagons full of boyz, which seem to be hitting just as hard, and really speed up the game. Sharp eyed folks will also notice a gorkamorka nob leading the group! Really pleased with how he came out. The last iteration of paint on him was horrid by comparison :). All these boyz still need to be based, varnished, metallic highlights, and powders. So they will get a few more bits of flare before they are truly done. (I wait till they are on the bases to varnish them, and the bases are on the way!)
Welcome back my friends! Another week, and more orks on the table!
So something happened this week that I never thought would happen. I started listening to everyone and started putting on checks onto some of the shoulder plates. What have I done! Of course I haven't done any white, because I don't have white on the entire army, so most likely going to stick with some sort of metallic checks, just to keep with the overall silver/yellow theme. I know this makes traditionalists squirm, but hey, its orks :).
It really helped on the big choppa nob. That is for sure!
Welcome my friends! Hope you still enjoy ork infantry, because guess what Greggles is painting? That's right, more orks! In the first shot, is the current 10 choppa boyz I'm working on. Trying to get them to a point for Saturday's game, so I can field as many painted orks as possible vs Dan's AM! This will actually be a streamed game at https://www.twitch.tv/greggles1 around 11 EST! Second photo is the next batch. Everyone is on a little cup now, as it seems to help my wrists enough so I can continue painting!
Welcome my friends to another orky Thursday. Where almost every brush stroke ends up on an ork. The tide is endless! First off...these are my OLD orks. I ripped them off their old 25mm bases, made some new 32mm bases with texture paste, and rebased the lot of them. (This is my fail safe if I can't finish the new orks in time for nova...and to try playing with 90 orks).
Welcome friends! This week I show off the completed photos of the shoota boyz and ork weirdboy. Slow and steady! Chomping away at all these boyz!
Welcome back my friends! This week I played a few 8th games. Painted the boyz, and worked on my 8th edition list for Nova! So to start off, here is one of the guys finished. Might go back at some point and work on the teeth, but yellowed teeth look perfectly fine on the orks!
Hey my friends! Welcome to the great Waaaagh! Another week of painting occurred! Now the green finally goes on, and you see how great redoubts new scheme is utterly fantastic and so bright and vibrant! So bright and vibrant! I just love it! Just zenithal + army painter strong tone + lamenters yellow + green (whatever the new gw green wash is),
Hey everyone! Welcome back! This week sees me finish building the forty boyz (giving me 30 shoota, 30 slugga) and start putting some paint down. I also got in a few test games with Shantz, and boy did we have fun! (love love love the CP mechanic!). A shot from my crazy production. Let me tell you, the old boyz kits...oh the mouldlines are so awful. So awful! In fact, I actually injured my wrist from all the repetitive scraping and turning. (Don't try to clean 40 ork boyz in a row!) You'll also notice in the center, the waagh banner nob...which I have been trying to get forever. It is quite possibly one of the coolest orks in the GW line!
Welcome back everyone! Another short update week. Since I am basically painting the same things as before, (and at a snails pace), I don't have too much to show you! Finished the metallics on the next unit of 10...which are now going to turn into units of 14. (go figure!).
Short update this week! After four posts last week, just slowly painting up the next ten deathguard. Almost done the metallics, then its off to chipping and washes! Been working on the 30k list as well. Right now looks like about 20 tactical marines, and roughly 40 heavy support squads. (10 missile, 10 hvy bolter, 10 autocannon, 10 vulkite) Seems deathguard to me. (no vehicles).
Hope everyone is having a good week! Welcome my friends! My post is a bit early this week, as I am off to Adepticon to spend time looking at and enjoying all the miniatures! I haven't been slacking off though, and have been painting up a storm! First off, finally made a jaw up that I liked for the grot knight! Transferred the claw over from the ork knight, and packed him up to show off at adepticon (maybe with some queen bee face off shots!)
Welcome back friends! This week showcases the first squad of the finished deathguard. Meanwhile Sincain40k has produced nearly half his army, making even Mordain7th raise an eyebrow! :) I beat Horizon Zero Dawn (Awesome awesome game), which let me get back to the hobby stuff, just in time for adepticon! So starting with the finished product first (minus the parts that were still drying because I was too excited how it was coming out :) ).
